After an unwanted separation of some years, Mendel and I were able to resume a relationship that I will always value . I am thankful that we were able to do so.
May his memory continue to be a blessing.

We were very sorry to hear of Mendel's passing. His father performed the marriage ceremony of my parents, Eunice Poliakoff and Hyman Draisen in 1939, and they spoke often of Mendel.
