Dr. Roland C. McConnell was an outstanding person, scholar and friend to those of us who came to know him in the Department of History & Geography at Morgan State University. He was gracious with his time and always willing to share a word of encouragement and advice. He will be missed, as he was this year at our annual History Day celebrations.
May his family be comforted by the fact that he influenced and touched many lives in a positive way. May he Rest in Peace.
