Victor Eric Buchwald, age 51, of Joppa, Maryland passed away on February 19, 2021 at Franklin Square Hospital in Rosedale, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of Everett Franklin and Janet Barbara (Scheder) Buchwald. He owned and operated EFB Flooring in Joppa. He had a passion for cooking and music, enjoyed being outside, and loved the beach. He was also a DJ and enjoyed playing the guitar and drums. Victor was a loving husband, life-partner, father, and grandfather, who enjoyed helping others and will be dearly missed by his many family and friends.

Victor is survived by his former wife, Wendy Buchwald; life partner, Rhonda Schmitt; two daughters, Victoria Buchwald-Sheets and Megan Yost; two sons, Eric Buchwald and Tyler Yost; grandchild, Levi Hopkins; brother, Michael Buchwald; and sister, Jacqueline Myers.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son in law, Samuel Sheets.

Visitation will be held under the caring guidance of the family owned and operated McComas Funeral Home, Abingdon, Maryland on Friday, February 26, 2021 from 2-4 & 5-7 pm. A private service will be held for family and invited guests.
