I was a patient of Dr. Funk and just learned of her passing. I was truly saddened by this news. All I could think of was how kind of a person she was. She was nonjudgmental and treated everyone the same and that’s what I loved about her. She was the very first psych doctor I actually looked forward to seeing. She was very soft spoken and always spoke highly of her cats and husband. She will truly be missed. Sending my condolences to her husband, family and friends. Rip Dr. Funk ❤

I was a patient of Dr Funk and I adored her. I enjoyed our visits, talking about church and pets. Our last visit she was so excited about her stethoscope that had a cat print around the neck.

She cannot be replaced. It took me a very long time to find someone that cared well for me like Dr. Funk.
My sincere condolences.

My son, Greg was seen by Nancy for a few years. We came to look forward to the appointments. Nancy was very soft spoken and so kind. We were very sad to hear that she was sick and passed so quickly. We didn't get to say goodbye. She loved to see our dog Rollo and the grandkids during the last two telehealth appts. Nancy said it made her day. I am crying with you. We appreciate that she talked of her faith, loved that.
I am saddened and will miss her very much. Her family and friends are in my prayers,

Dr. Funk was a wonderful lady who took her time with each patient and let them know she cared. We talked about our husbands and our faith, her cats and even about books & reading. My thoughts and prayers are with her husband at this time. She spoke of him every time I met with her and I hope it brings him a small amount of peace to know that she spoke so highly of him. I will truly miss her.

Nancy was not my doc for long but she was kind and helped to me. I’m sad for her family but happy she is out of her pain. My wish for her loved ones is that your tears turn to happier memories which bring you smiles. I know she is fine where she sits right now because only her human form has gone. In time when you see something that immediately brings her to your mind please know it is her because there are no consequences in life.
