Words cannot describe the beauty that was Lynne. We go back many years, years boarding my horses at her farm, years helping her with real estate questions and years helping Andy. I pass her house every Sunday and mourn that I did not take the time to stop in like I always thought I would. We were kindred spirits and I will miss her deeply.

So sorry to hear of this sudden loss. My family has known Lynne since the mid 1970's when we began breeding Morgans. We loved her devotion to breeding real Morgans and her artistry as a jeweler (my mom and I both own beautiful pieces of Lynne's jewelry). She will certainly be missed.

For all you were to each of us. Your smiles, laughter, and steadfast direction and for the assention of that brilliant soul:
"Within the garden of Thine immortality, before Thy countenance, let me abide forever, O Thou Who art merciful unto me, and upon the seat of Thy glory stablish me, O Thou Who art my Possessor." ... Open Thou the way for this awakened soul to enter Thy kingdom, and enable this bird, trained by Thy hand, to soar in the eternal rose garden..."

To the family: What I remember most about Lynne is that her smile and radiant personality came through the door before she did. Lynne was always cheerful and lovely to look at. Over 60 years ago, we attended religious school together at the Baltimore Hebrew Congregation and were in the same "Confirmation" class there. We were very friendly and our parents were close friends. Saw Lynne only a few times since those days but thought about her often since. My wife, Shana Rubin, remembers that her first ride on a horse was on Lynne's horse, "Sassy". I am saddened by the passing of this lovely nice lady.”

So sorry for this sudden and tragic loss in our family - our hearts go out to Patsy and Hank and Andrew and the children. Lynne was the most vibrant, passionate person and such and artist with her jewelry and with her horses. She will be sorely missed! With love from cousins Hilary (Kayle) and Peter Crist

Dear Andy,
I'm so shocked and saddened by the loss of your Mom. I will always treasure the time we all spent together- and i just lost Taj at 38 yrs old!! My thoughts are with you and you know that she'll get heaven in shape! She adored you and it's so hard to loose your parent- I'm sorry. She was such a great, intellegent, creative force- you are joined in your grief by me and many others.
Love,
Claire

Lynne gave a driving clinic for the members of the Equitarians OPRC at the Free State Riding Ring in Bowie, MD. When she said we would all get a chance to drive, I was thrilled. It had been on my "bucket list". Lynn was such a good clinician and we all got so much out of the clinic. I will never forget that day. Condolences to her family and friends.

Always with a smile. She will be missed by not only friends, but the world around her. Rest in Peace my friend.

I've been Lynne's friend since teen years, as riders at the Baltimore County Humane Society, then on Park Heights (where the beltway is now). Later, when teaching at the Humane Society's Nicodemus farm, I reconnected with her at Grey Dawn... got first Morgan, not one of her breeding, but born there... and it was at Grey Dawn where she and Mandy taught me to drive. For a while I helped her break driving Morgans and showed with her when we were the only drivers using antique vehicles. Our paths separated but I came back for more Morgans. All three of my show horses had a Statesman connection; all were Mid-A carriage driving champions and champions at open driving shows. My most recent "baby" (with Mandy on both sire and dam pedigrees) became my most skilled horse, winning ribbons in each class I entered at the famous Walnut Hill show in 2012. We continue to be friends as I connected her to the carriage driving world. We both remembered Sybil Dukehart and shared ownership of her English Trap. I can't believe she will not be meeting her for supper, as we agreed most recently. She will be missed... but her wonderful Statesman babies will keep her memory alive.

Inspirational wonderful lady, equestrian, artist. Will be missed greatly. The horse world is truly sad for the loss of all she contributed.
