We re-connected just a few years ago, we here graduate students together at CCAC. I remember her laugh exactly, I can still hear it. One Christmas she gave me a little rabbit ornament. She said doesn't exactly look Christmasy, but maybe it could combine Christmas and Easter...When I saw her after so many years in Oakland, she told me her building was being sold and she would have to move. I impulsively I invited her to come live with me in Virginia. We planned and planned! She wanted to be closer to her parents. I miss her, I was holding out hope she would be well enough to move her. I'd like to think she could still come to visit me in spirit, and we could share a good laugh.
