Wade Jackson Obituary
Son of the late J.H. "Buck" and Hallie Staggs Jackson, he served in the United States National Guard. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: his son, Wade Jackson, Jr., and brother, Harold Jackson.
Survivors include: his wife, Charlsa Jackson of Winder; son, Ben (Amber) Jackson of Jefferson; daughter-in-law, Kristi Jackson of Roswell; brothers, John and Perry Jackson, both of Winder; and grandchildren, Claire Altman, Savanna Jackson, and Robert Jackson.
The family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. on Saturday, May 4 at Smith Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, May 5 in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home with Rev. Donnie Pennington officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Samaritan's Purse, P.O. Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607 or Eagle Ranch, P.O. Box 7200, Chestnut Mtn., GA 30502.
Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Charlsa, some of our fondest memories of you and Wade are of the times our Mixed Nuts Sunday School Class at Hebron met together especially to pray for our precious children. We rejoiced over many answered prayers. Some of those dear friends, are welcoming Wade in heaven now.
You and Ben and all your family will continue to be in our prayers. May you feel the comfort of the Holy Spirit, especially now.

Dearest Charlsa, George and I are so deeply grieved at the loss of such a sweet friend. Wade was always the epitome of the true Southern gentleman. We valued his friendship and esteem very highly, and we'll miss his quick smile and kind heart. We love you both dearly.
