There are no words to convey the tremendous loss our family has suffered but we know that our dear aunt, sister friend and mother is in a better place. It still feels like this is a bad dream and can't wake up. We will continue to look to the Lord for our strength and the loving cards, emails and phone calls to remind us of our special gem.

We love and miss you Et!!
You will be forever in our hearts,
Love Your Niece and Family

TO MR. JOE MOORE, JR. AND FAMILY! ETTA AND EMMALINE WERE BIG SISTERS TO ME. I WISH I COULD HAVE ATTENDED ETTA'S SERVICES; BUT I WAS TOO FATIGUED FROM MY TENNESSEE VACATION WHICH ENDED JULY 6th TO TAKE ANOTHER FLIGHT. I WAS HONORED TO HAVE ETTA AS SUCH A REMARKABLE FRIEND. I SHARE YOUR PAIN AND LOSS. ETTA IS IRREPLACEABLE.

My condelences and prayers are with the entire Moore Family. Mrs. Moore was my third grade teacher and one of the best teacher I experienced at H.V. Adams. Her son, Joe and I are classmates. Thank you Mrs. Moore for you love and devotion as a teacher. Rest in sweet peace. May we meet again.

Death, be not proud

Death, be not proud, though some have called thee
Mighty and dreadful, for thou art not so;
For those whom thou think'st thou dost overthrow
Die not, poor Death, nor yet canst thou kill me.
From rest and sleep, which but thy pictures be,
Much pleasure; then from thee much more must flow,
And soonest our best men with thee do go,
Rest of their bones, and soul's delivery.
Thou art slave to fate, chance, kings, and desperate men,
And dost with poison, war, and sickness dwell,
And poppy or charms can make us sleep as well
And better than thy stroke; why swell'st thou then?
One short sleep past, we wake eternally
And death shall be no more; Death, thou shalt die.
