Agnes M. Tumulty

Agnes M. Tumulty, 89, of Whitehall, formerly of Cresco, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 6, 2024, at Fellowship Community. She was the wife of the late James R. Tumulty, who passed on March 18, 2015. Agnes was born September 30,1935 in Edinburgh, Scotland, the daughter of the late David and Mary (Simpson) Craig. Agnes was employed at the New York & New Jersey Port Authority Credit Union for over 25 years.

Survivors: daughter, Deborah Lintvedt and companion, Chuck Lorah; son, James Tumulty and wife, Paula; 5 grandchildren, Melissa Parham and husband, John, Allison Lintvedt and fiancé, Cameron, Carly Lintvedt, Abigail Tumulty and Ian Tumulty; and 8 great-grandchildren. Agnes was predeceased by sibling, Robert Craig and son-in-law, Peter Lintvedt.

Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, December 11th at 10:30 a.m. in Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 22nd & Washington Ave., Northampton. Family and friends may call Wednesday 9:15 – 10:15 a.m. in the church. Burial will be in the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightsville, New Jersey.
