Alan L. Pierce Born February 27, 1955 to Rex and Janet (Melton) Pierce. Alan was a lifelong resident of Lansing, MI. Alan was called home on Saturday December 16, 2017. He leaves behind his loving wife of 42 years Carol (VanHorn) Pierce, a son Alan and (Liz) Pierce, a daughter Lisa Strong, three grandkids Casey Pierce, Dominique Harris, Kylene Potts, and three sisters; Michelle (Alan) Ayers, Diane (Gale) Twitchel, and Janette (Paul) Walton, as well as many other family and friends. Alan was a carpenter and avid outdoorsmen. He enjoyed hunting, Fishing and riding his four wheeler. He enjoyed watching Nascar racing, history and nature programs as well as occasional trips to the casino. He has a great sense of humor and could find something funny to say in most every situation. He will me miss greatly by all those who knew him.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday December 20, 2017 10:00am  at the Palmer, Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Home Lansing Chapel. 520 E Mt. Hope Ave Lansing, MI 48910. with Pastor Jan Hite as officiant. The family will receive relatives and friends Tuesday, December 19, 2017 from 5:00-8:00pm at the funeral home.
