Albert Acosta Obituary
ALBERT BENITO ACOSTA peacefully slipped away on March 11, 2016, surrounded by his family. Born and raised in San Francisco, he was a member of Teamsters Local 85 for almost 40 years.
When he moved to Rohnert Park in 1994, he became a member of the Callinan Sport & Fitness Center. He was an avid racquetball enthusiast for over 20 years and became a familiar face to other members. He took every opportunity to go to the gym. At 94, his motto was "keep it moving." He loved working with wood and refinishing old pieces to make them look brand new.
He was cherished by his three daughters, six grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren. His life was dedicated to his family. His enthusiasm for life and his great humor will be missed by many.
His inurnment took place at Parent-Sorensen Mortuary and there will be a celebration of life on June 4, 2016.
