Albert Kreitzer

1958 - 2025

Albert Kreitzer, 67, of New Eagle, died unexpectedly Sunday, September 14, 2025 in the Jefferson Hospital. He was born June 23, 1958 in Hazleton, the son of the late Albert S. Kreitzer Sr., Joanie Young Thomas and step son of Lynn Thomas.

Al retired after twenty five years of employment as a mechanic/welder at Waste Management in Washington. He truly enjoyed being retired and was always there when he was needed by a friend.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Callihan Kreitzer  with whom he celebrated forty six years of marriage on September 8, 2025; daughter, Candace Kreitzer of New Eagle; son, Wayne Kreitzer of Charleroi; four grandchildren, Austin Blake and Nevaeh Kreitzer, Alexis and Siler Demar; four sisters, Joanie Marshallik of Nanticoke, Wendy (George) Skiro of Mountain Top, Grace Brutko of Kingston, and Doris (Mike) Macynski of Wilkes Barre; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and step father, he was preceded in death by his son, Albert "Butchie" Kreitzer, III who died May 15, 2004; and two brothers, Adam and John Kreitzer.

Friends will be received on Thursday, September 18, 2025 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM in the Frye Funeral Home, Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where services will be held on Friday, September 19, 2025 at 11:00 AM with the Deacon Alexander Poroda officiating. Interment will follow in Mon Valley Memorial Park, Donora.
