Albert Romano of Point Pleasant Beach passed Monday March 1st, 2021 at 90 years of age. Albert was born and raised in Long Island City, NY. After marrying, he lived many years in Old Bridge and Point Pleasant Borough before moving to Point Pleasant Beach 15 years ago. He made a lifelong career as a professional Estimator.
He was an Army veteran of the Korean War as well as a proud supporter of the Republican National Committee, the National Rifle Assn and numerous Veterans organizations. He was also a huge Civil War enthusiast.
He will be remembered as a great family man and Father.
He was predeceased by his wife Sandra in 2007.
Surviving are his children Virginia Kissling and her husband Leo of Jackson, Paul Romano and his wife Alicia of Georgia and Stacey Romano VMD of Point Pleasant Beach. Also surviving are 4 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
A Gathering will be held on Saturday March 6th 2021 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at Van Hise & Callagan Funeral Home 812 Arnold Ave. Pt. Pleasant Beach. A Funeral Service will also be offered on Saturday at 3:30. Burial will be held privately on Tuesday at the Brig. General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown.
