Alfredo “Freddie” G. Galaz, 84, of Las Cruces, NM, entered eternal life on October 30, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. He was born July 31, 1941, in Las Cruces, NM to Santiago and Manuela Galaz.
Throughout his life he was a very hard worker and always did his best. He had a deep love for God and believed in praying the rosary daily and reading his bible. He worked for the government for 42 years. He worked as a mail carrier for the US Postal Service. He enjoyed watching sports on TV and was an excellent baseball coach for many years. He was so proud of his team the Tigers, who made it to State in 1987. We always found him doing yardwork as he loved being outdoors.

He is also survived by his two sisters Gloria Galaz Venzor and Sally Galaz and his brother Roberto (Bobby) Galaz (Veronica). Patricia, Lencho and Family:
Though I didn’t know your father well, what i can say is that he was ALWAYS kind! I knew him from his attendance at the high school basketball games. May God bless you during this time and may the memories of such a kind and pleasant man warm your heart.♥
