I remember Alice allowing me to stay at her house so I could finish out my sophomore year at Old High with my BFF, (her daughter) Garlene, when my mom decided to follow my dad to Florida. I appreciate Alice taking me in and treating me like a family member.
She will be missed.

Alice Marie Cozby, 90, of Arkansas passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 30, 2024.
The family will receive friends and family on Thursday, November 7, 2024 between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. at Owens & Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 8, 2024 Crestview Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Brenda Green, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.
Alice was born on May 16, 1934 to the late Claude Finley and Margaret (Penn) Finley in Sherman, Texas. She was the assistant manager for AAA Cafe Equipment and later for the school district. Alice enjoyed baking for her family.
Along with her parents, Alice was preceded in death by three brothers, Arty Finley, Marshall Barnes (junior), and James Barnes.
Alice is survived by her children, Mont Kuykendall and wife Diane, Randall Kuykendall and wife Karen, Wendy Rouse, and partner Andrew Westerman, Michael Pierce, Bobby Pierce and wife Tanya, and Garlene McNatt and husband Chris; thirteen grandchildren; twenty- four great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
