Alice Hollas Obituary
Funeral Services for Alice Marie Hollas, age 86, of Schulenburg, will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at St. Mary Catholic Church in High Hill. The family will receive friends beginning at 9:30 a.m. with the parish rosary to be recited at 10:30 a.m. from the church. Interment will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery in High Hill.
Alice is survived by her husband, Robert Hollas of Schulenburg; son, Bobby and wife Kathy Hollas of Houston; son, Jimmy and wife Donna Hollas of Houston; daughter, Cindy and husband Jimmy Carter of Schulenburg; son, Andy and wife Melissa Hollas of Laguna Hills, California; 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; and brother, Daniel and wife Carol Bayer of Humble.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Erwin "E.J." Bayer; and parents, Lad and Lillie Bayer.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church Cemetery or Restoration Fund, St. Rose of Lima Catholic School, or a charity of your choice.

Mrs. Hollas was such a special gift to her friends and family. A wonderful mother and wife who raised amazing children. I was classmates with her son Jimmy. She treated us all as if we were her kids too. I will never forget her kindness and grace. God bless the family.
