Alice Martin Obituary
Alice Ann Martin, 98 of Newman passed away on September 30, 2025 at her residence. She lived on the Westside her whole life.
Alice Martin is survived by her son, Will (Diann) Martin and Ray (Christina) Martin; daughters, Darlene Cerutti, Beverly (Dennis) Bowers, Patty (Donnie) Hendrix; sister, Dorothy Azevedo; sister-in-law, Doloris Souza; 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson Martin.
The family would like to send a special thanks to her caregiver, Amy Hatch for her many hours of care, also to SEVA Hospice for always being there when needed.
A Visitation will be held at 9:00 am to 10:00 am, followed by a combination Rosary/ Mass of Christian Burial, Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at St. Joachim's Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Hills Ferry Cemetery in Newman.
The family request that remembrances in Alice Ann Martin’s memory be made to St. Joachim’s Catholic Church in Newman.

Although I did not personally know Mrs. Martin, Ed and I do know Willie and Darlene. We know the Martin family has lived on the Westside for many years, at least as far back as the mid 1900s when my own family settled on their farm in Newman on Villa Manucha Rd. near the Martin home. We are so sorry for the loss of your dear mother and grandmother. God bless the Martin family during this difficult time of loss.

She is always nice to me growing up we used to have a lot of fun over there back when her husband passed away I was surprised she knew who I was she was a great lady for me
