Alice Van Huss Obituary
Alice M Van Huss, 76 of Garland, Texas formally of Paris Missouri passed away November 10th 2021.
Alice was born August 17th 1945 the daughter of Willie Jo and Miriam Snyder Van Huss.
She is survived by her only son David Gampher, her brother; David Van Huss, her sister; Margaret Piearson, her three grandchildren; Amanda Walters, Adeline Gampher and Christopher Gampher.
Alice graduated Texas Woman's University with honors on December 17th 1978.She became a licensed RN. On March 28th 1979.
She quickly moved up to become the chief nurse over psychiatric services. In 1984 she was recruited by Harris Methodist hospital to start Springwood a 70-bed psychiatric hospital.
She was then promoted to administrative director for the Harris Methodist Hospital campus.
She retired from Harris Methodist hospital to start her own company. Alice created Health Consultations Incorporated for companies in the healthcare field navigating the accreditation process.
Memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Agnew Funeral Home in Paris. Visitation will be held from 1:00 a.m. until time of service on Sunday. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Paris.

Alice was a dear dear friend growing up in southwest Paris. We spent a LOT of time at each other’s houses playing in the neighborhood. LOTS of found fun memories!!
