Allan Kokkonen Obituary
Allan M. Kokkonen, of Evart, passed away unexpectedly Friday, April 27, 2018. He was 40.
Mr. Kokkonen was born September 18, 1977 in Cadillac to John Allan and Diane Kay (Linton) Kokkonen. He graduated from Evart High School in 1996 and went on to earn his Bachelor Degree from Ferris State University. Allan married Danielle A. Ryan in Evart on August 22, 2009. He worked as a tempering furnace operator at Vitro in Evart. Allan was a member of the NRA, enjoyed gunsmithing and reloading, CB radio operating, and was an avid fan of fireworks.
Allan is survived by his wife, Danielle A. Kokkonen of Evart, his son, Kael Mathew Kokkonen, his daughters, Noah Rae Ryan and Arle Jae Kokkonen, his sister, Sara (Tony) Vallette of Evart, his niece, Amaya Vallette, his nephew, Joshua Vallette, and his mother and father-in-law, Gene and Pamela Ryan of Evart. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services for Allan Mathew Kokkonen are 1:00pm Friday, May 4th at the Evart Free Methodist Church with Pastor Russ Atherton officiating. Visitation is Friday beginning at 11:00am until time of services at the church.
