Dear Allen~ Where do I begin. We met over 3 years ago in our group The Commission. You weren’t even an admin yet. You just another avid Sopranos fan in the group. But you and I hit it off immediately. I made a comment about Tony Blundetto , “ That animal, I can’t even say his name “ My signature line in the group. And then you have me your signature “ OOOOOHHHH!! “
That was the start of a most wonderful and cherished friendship. Aside from in the group, we spoke a lot on Messenger. Confided in each other. You sought out my counsel many times and I was happy to advise you. Our private chats are what I’m going to miss the most my dear friend. I know you are hanging out with Jesus now going “ OOOOOHHHHH Jesus Christ! What the hell !” But don’t piss Him off. He’s a good friend to have up there. Just like you are. Until we meet again my little bro ♥❤

I met Allen at a Sopranos event here in Michigan a few years ago and we became friends. Sopranos peeps are a rare breed & we bond quickly due to our intense love for the show. I had the pleasure & the honor of being on the Admin Team with Allen for the Sopranos group, "The Sopranos Commission". He quickly became a shining star with his creative memes & his sense of humor. His signature, "OOOOOOHHHHHHHHHH" gained him quite the following of fans, including myself & the entire Admin Team. His popularity with the members in the group rose like no one could have ever imagined...it was epic & we had never seen anything like it before. Allen was well respected and one could only hope that he would comment on their post. His legendary phrase brought a smile to many of our faces on a daily basis. Our group will never be the same without you. You touched so many people's lives with such a simple phrase & you probably had no idea the level of impact you had on all of us. Allen, you had the best" OOOOHHHHHH" ever and no other will ever compare. Rest in peace, my friend.

I want to say that it's been an absolute pleasure knowing you Allen, working alongside you in the group, the way you kept it alive with your memes and comments. You were so well liked and loved. I have said it before, and I maintain it now, this thing of ours will never be the same again without you. Somewhere back in Feb 2023 you went missing from the group for a while and the outpouring then was crazy, it is my hope that you saw then how much you were loved. We continue to circle the wagons for you now as we did in life. Sending love and support to your family at this sad time, I will hold a space for them in my heart. ♥

I never was fortunate enough to meet Allen in person, but felt like I knew him through our interactions and his legendary status on the group he helped run, The Commission. Allen was the bright spot of the group, for his creativity and humor, and everyone loved him. He made everyone who contributed to the group feel heard and important. He instilled confidence in the members so that they would become more involved and contribute - and they did. His beloved ‘ooohhhhhhh’ response made me smile daily, and there were many days when an ‘ooohhhhhh’ from Allen really helped to brighten a bad day. I hope he knew that so many of us felt this way. He is already very much missed and he will not be forgotten.
My deepest condolences to his loved ones and friends. May he rest in peace.

To Allen: Someone I’m content to call a friend. Even though we never had a chance to meet in person (for no other reason than distance), I always enjoyed our chats on Facebook. Our interactions, commentary and chats about our beloved show, The Sopranos, are invaluable to me. I will take them with me always. Rest in peace my friend. You were loved. And you will be sorely missed.

First, I would like to send my most sincere condolences out to all who loved Allen. His wife, and his father, stepmother and sister. Allen and I first met back in first or second grade at Howard. I remember Allen being quiet but kind and loyal. We lost touch for many years but in the last few years had reconnected. We bonded over the Sopranos, and more; developing a friendship with trust, humor and laughter through our phones. Just most recently we shared conversations about the holidays and he knew it wasn’t a super easy time and he offered me support. We just spoke days before he passed. I write this so that you know that Allen was a good friend. A funny friend. He helped run a killer Sopranos Facebook group that I know (& can see why) he was proud of. I send you wishes of peace during such a tough time.

You were the love of my life. I wish you could've seen yourself through my eyes. I wish I could've taken all your pain away...I tried so hard, and I know you did too, but there was always something bigger & darker between us, wasn't there? It took you from me long before you left this earth. I will love you so long as there is breath in my lungs, and beyond. I will never forget your infectious belly laughs at the Triangle house, the quiet time in the rain, September in Gatlinburg missing our flight & driving 8 hours...the Waffle House "nightclub", your excitement at making not one, but 2 holes in one at mini-golf...dancing with you, all our days & nights together in the tiki hut or on the porch, talking. You were the most amazing cat dad & dog dad! I did the best I knew how, baby. I hope you are without pain now, are no longer suffering, and are happy & joyful with Godiva! "See you on the other side."

It’s not much, but Allen entertained us in our Sopranos Commission Facebook group. He was legendary. Will miss his contributions.
