Allen “Al” Andrew Siwek, 62, of Lac du Flambeau, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday evening, April 6, 2024, at Aspirus Howard Young Hospital.

He was born in Milwaukee, to Ronald and Eileen (Hagerty) Siwek and was raised in Greenfield, Wisconsin. Al was a 1980 graduate of Greenfield High School. He continued to live in Milwaukee until 1998 when the family moved to Minocqua, living on Booth Lake. He had been employed at various businesses in the area. Al handcrafted log furniture, creating many pieces for family and friends. He met Debbie Chapman twenty-two years ago and they became a couple living in Lac du Flambeau.

Al enjoyed downhill skiing, hiking, kayaking, fishing, camping, and spending time outdoors.

He will be dearly missed by his mother, Eileen, brother, Phil (Kristine) Siwek, of West Allis, sister, Kristine (Greg) Gostomski of Hartland, nephew, Kyle Gostomski, niece, Kaitlyn (Kyle) Doyle, great-uncle to Callahan and Benson Doyle, and the love of his life, Debbie Chapman of Lac du Flambeau. Also surviving are other relatives and friends.

Al is preceded in death by his father, Ronald Siwek in 2022, his brother, Paul Siwek in 2006, and by his paternal and maternal grandparents.

The family has requested cremation.
