Alma Woolwine Kappelman

1933 - 2025

Hurt……...Alma Woolwine Kappelman, age 91 of Hurt, died Sunday, April 6, 2025 at Virginia Baptist Hospital.      

Born August 10, 1933 in Christiansburg, she was a daughter of the late James Woolwine and Mae Collins Woolwine.  She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Wayne Kappelman; one son, Michael Charles Kappelman; two brothers, Bob Woolwine and Steve Woolwine; and one sister, Dorothy Proco. Mrs. Kappelman was a former secretary with Leatherneck Magazine.  

She is survived by one son, James D. “Jimmy” Kappelman and wife, Tracy of Gretna; and one sister, Sue Hilton of Tennessee.  

Per her request there will be no public service.
