November 29, 1941 – January 24, 2026


Andres Botello, Sr., 84, passed away on January 24, 2026. 


He was born on November 29, 1941, in San Luis Potosí to the late Macedonio Vela and Tranquilina Botello.


Andres was a hardworking man who found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved working on lawnmowers, always keeping his hands busy fixing and improving things. He also had a deep affection for birds and enjoyed fishing, finding peace and comfort in nature and the quiet moments it offered. In his leisure time, he loved playing pool, a pastime that brought him fun, friendly competition, and time spent with others.


He is survived by his eight children, Nemorio (Areceli Valdez) Vega, Alvaro (Margarita) Vega, Andrea Torres, Annette (Martin) Jacinto, Andres (Martha) Botello, Jr., Venustiano (Kristal Lynn) Botello, Victoria Botello and Virginia (Joshua Perez) Botello; seventeen grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren, who will forever cherish the memories they shared with him. He is also survived by a brother Venustiano Vega.


A viewing and visitation will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026 from 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. at Trinity Funeral Chapel of the Holy Spirit. 


Andres Botello, Sr. will be remembered for his strong work ethic and the simple passions that brought him joy and happiness. His legacy lives on through his family and the many lives he touched.
