Not sure what to say?

I just learned of Andy’s passing. I have fond memories of him stopping by PB&S making deliveries and what fun he was! Most recently he helped fix a couch for me in his workshop. I’m so very sorry for your loss and will be thinking of you on Monday.

Brenda and family, may God hold you tight in his arms at this sad time. Praying for you.

Brenda we are so sorry for your loss praying for you! Kathy LaRue Belt

Brenda and family, I send my condolences. I know this is so very difficult for you all. I'm so glad I got to see Andy at our last reunion. My thoughts and care are with you.

The Bugg Family extends their sympathy to the family. Andy was one of the finest persons you would ever want to know. Warm thoughts and prayers.

ANDY's Obituary

Carl Andrew “Andy” Thomas, 79, of Corydon, KY, passed away peacefully early the morning of January 6, 2026, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, IN.

He was born on April 27, 1946, in Morganfield, KY, to the late Ray and Nolan Thomas.

Andy was a lifelong member of Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, where he regularly volunteered as part of the Men’s Club.  He drove a Hostess truck for 30 years and loved to work outside as often as he could.  An avid golfer, Andy enjoyed weekly golf outings with his friends.  More than anything, though, he loved to spend time with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Nolan Thomas; and his two brothers, Tony Thomas and Joe Thomas.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Brenda (Blanford); three children, Andrea (Brian) Alvey, Brian (Mindy), and Casey (Traci); three sisters, Ramona (Dan) Lauterwasser, Yvonne (Tommy) Drury, and Gladelle Hardenbergh; sister-in-law, Mary Ann; seven grandchildren, Darin (Kyle) Lewis, Brett Lewis, Cassidy (Ben) Brumfiel, Collin (Braylynn) Alvey, Rylee Thomas, Paige (Landon) Black, and Garrett Thomas; four great-grandchildren, Evyn & Dean Brumfiel and Drew & Phoebe Lewis, with one more, Halston Black, due in February; and nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, January 12, 2026, at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church in Henderson, KY, with Fr. Larry McBride officiating.  Burial will follow at St. Louis Cemetery in Henderson.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 11, 2026, and from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 12, at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home, where a prayer service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 11.

Pallbearers will be Keith Blanford, Jim Blanford, Ricky Blanford, Rodney Blanford, Greg Thomas, and Joey Thomas.

Expressions of sympathy can be made as contributions to Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church or Holy Name School.
