Mrs. Angela Michelle Collins, 56, wife of Timothy L. Collins, of Marion, was gifted a new body by her Lord and Savior during the early morning hours of January 3, 2025, while at the McLeod Hospice House in Florence after a long courageous battle with cancer.

Angie, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many, was born on April 8, 1968, in Mullins, South Carolina, a daughter to the late Carl Jr. Miller and the late Juanita Gaddy Smithey. Angie grew up around the Mullins and Marion areas, going to school, making friends and memories. Angie earned her degree in Nursing and put her degree to use helping others in their time of unwellness and need. She served the community until she retired and took up being a full-time nana. Angie loved her grand-babies. They were her pride and joy. When she wasn’t spending time with her grandchildren, Angie loved to spend time doing carpentry work. She would take on carpentry projects around the house, no matter how big. Angie loved to hunt and fish. She knew her way around a rifle, deer stand or rod and reel. When she wasn’t busy doing any of that, she enjoyed crafting and sewing. Angie was a woman of many trades and there wasn’t anything that she couldn’t do when she set her mind to it. She was a woman of great faith, loved her Lord and will be missed by all whose lives she touched.

Angela is survived by her loving husband, Timothy L. Collins of Marion; her children: Dustin Collins (Haley), Heather Collins (James), Travis Collins (Virginia) and Britinee Brock (Jeremy); her grandchildren: Hunter Collins, Rylan Youngman, Grai Smith, Andrew Brock, Hadley Collins, Savannah Collins, Austin Brock, Connor Wiggins, and Logan Wiggins; her siblings: Tammy Sanders (Jason),  Wayne Collins (Karen),  Robin Bullock (Robert), Kenny Holden (Lori) and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Angela was predeceased by her parents: Carl and Juanita; her brothers, John Miller, Bryan Collins, Ryan Collins, and her sister, Carolyn Miller.

The family will hold a visitation Sunday, January 5, from 1:00 until 3:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Cox-Collins Funeral Home in Mullins.

A memorial service to celebrate the life of Angela will be held following visitation at 3:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Cox-Collins, with Pastor Adam Work and Pastor Travis Leasure officiating, and Nursing Honors performed by the South Carolina Nursing Honor Guard.
