COLONIAL FUNERAL HOME, 217O HIGHWAY 88, BRICK, NJ
Ann Mackanic (Yurcisin), age 93, of Point Pleasant, passed away at home on Tuesday, February 4, 2020.
Ann was born on February 18th, 1926 in Czechoslovakia and lived in Jersey City before moving to Pt. Pleasant. She was predeceased by her husband Michael Mackanic in 1992.
Ann loved swimming in the ocean and walking on the boardwalk with her friends. Meeting with them as part of the “Sunshine Club”. She was also an avid reader and a big fan of the New York Yankees.
Ann is survived by her three daughters, Nancy Scocca and her husband Tony of Summerfield, Florida, Diane Nimbley and her husband Tom of Mendham, NJ, Janice Mackanic of Pt. Pleasant, and her grandson Christopher Nimbley and several nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be Saturday, February 8, 2020, from 1 pm to 5 pm at Colonial Funeral Home, 2170 Highway 88, Brick. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Popcorn Park Zoo, PO Box 1002, Forked River, NJ 08731
