On the 10th of November Ann Webster Maschler passed from this life in to eternity.
She was the daughter of Thomas J and Almira Ketcham Webster, born on January 9th, 1938 in Trenton Mo. Raised Catholic, educated at Loretto Academy and the College of St Teresa, with a major in history. She taught both elementary and secondary in public and private schools.
Always knowing that she was first-generation American, she became increasingly interested in her family tree and researched many generations including and beyond those who came over on the Mayflower. Ann was a proud member of the Mayflower Society and the Colonial Dames. She also enjoyed gardening and cooking.
Ann met the love of her life, Frank Maschler, in 1957 and they were married October 5th, 1963. They had two beloved sons and were happily married until Frank’s passing in 2010.
During her life she made many wonderful friends that she cherished.
She will be missed greatly by her sons, Sean and Kevin; daughter-in-law Priscilla; grandchildren Liam and Grace along with numerous in-laws, cousins, and friends.
Memorial contributions may be given to St Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Visitation will be held at 9:30am Monday, November 18th at Jacob’s Well Church, 1617 W. 42nd St., KCMO followed by funeral service at 10:30am. Interment will be at Winston Cemetery in Winston Mo.
Ann was loved by every generation of her family from her grandparents to her grandchildren. She was loved every moment of her life and those generations that follow her will remember and love her all of theirs.

Mrs Maschler was my advisor at St Teresas. She was very supportive and kind to me during my time there. I sad to hear of her passing and my thoughts will be with her family.

It was really wonderful to spend time with Ann & gift her some family pictures this past June. I'm just so sorry she was unable to accept my invitation to visit.

Sean...I'm so sorry about the passing of your Mom. Although I never met her, based on what you've told me, she clearly was an amazing woman. My family and I, and many others, have you and your family in our thoughts and prayers.

Sean, I was sorry to hear of the passing of your Mother. She was a great lady, and now is reunited with your Father. She touched so many lives in the old neighborhood, along with all the students she touched. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
