Ms. Annise was certainly a role model for me back in the 60s - practice, practice, practice! She forced me to buck up and perform on stage at piano recitals even when I just wanted to run out the back door. She was always kind but strict. I reunited with her recently at Antebellum, and noticed how lovely she was, even now. Although, I could tell she didnt remember me, but that was ok. Prayers to all the family.

Annice was my piano teacher from 1961-1966. I adored her. I have such fond memories of being in her studio in the old Band House at MPHS. She was an elegant, encouraging, and caring woman who made me want to practice and be my best and she was a significant role model for me. I am forever grateful that she was such an important part of my life and for the many gifts she gave me.

I will always remember Annice as a beautiful, kind lady. She was beautiful when I first met her when I was at MPHS and she grew more beautiful over the years. She had more class than most anyone I know. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of her wonderful family.

I will always have a good and fond memory in my heart for Ms. Annice. When I was around 15 years old she drove me up to Atlanta, GA for the day, to get my provisional license at the FCC, so I could work at the radio station in Forsyth ( WFNE). She knew how nervous I was but was so kind to me and even insisted that we stop on the way home and get something to eat. I am grateful for sharing that time with her.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always. Annice was a wonderful lady who grew up with my Dad and his siblings. She also played the piano at both of my parents funerals. I remember going to the Village Outlet with my Mom as a teenager. I loved going there and seeing her with her sweet smile! Praying for each of you during this difficult time.
