Antonio Dunbar-Johnson was born in Muskegon, Michigan on August 24,1990 to Laticia Dunbar-Edmondson (Albert) and Gregory Walker of
Muskegon Heights, Michigan. Antonio honorably and lovingly carried the Johnson family name of Tyrie Johnson of Muskegon Heights, Michigan.
Antonio attended school in the Muskegon Big Red school district, where he played Little League football, even though his mother was a Muskegon Heights Tiger fan.
In 2004, Antonio’s mother moved him and his sister to Dallas, Texas where he graduated from North Garland High School. Antonio grew up to be and has always been a very intelligent person. His knowledge of technology was extraordinary.
While in Dallas as a young boy, he worked for Arby’s restaurant and went on to become an emergency telephone programmer. On June 14, 2014, he married Ashley White, together they have 4 children, Jaelyn, Issac, Aaliyah, and Alennah. The children, affectionately known as the Dunbar-Johnson kids, shared a deep bond of love. The love he displayed towards his family was more than a pleasure to witness, it was heartwarming. Jaelyn, Issac, Aaliyah and Alennah, always remember your dad did move mountains for you and he loved each of you with all his heart.
Antonio adored his mother. Their relationship was so honest, pure, real, respectful, fun and so many more good things. His mother always referred to him as “her first love”. Antonio was a cool, laid back, kind hearted, friendly and loving person. His presence will be greatly missed and he will never be forgotten.
He was proceeded in death by his maternal grandmother, Vera Stephens.
Antonio leaves to cherish his memory his wife Ashley Johnson, his children, Jaelyn, Issac, Aaliyah and Alennah. His parents, his siblings, O’Shanique Banister, Terrick Lewis, Tyrie Johnson Jr., Gregory Walker Jr., Tija Paggett, Greddrika (Paul) Jolley, Chikodili Ezinwa
Walker, and Sarah Anderson. Two bonus sisters, Alteeka (Jamal) West and Jasmine Edmondson. A special uncle who he was named
after, Antonio Stephens (Uncle Tone), his grandfather William Stephens, his mother in law Cara Roberts, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
