Armando R. Villegas, age 72, went home to be with the Lord peacefully December 6, 2025, at Valley Baptist Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Harlingen, Tx on August 9, 1953, to Alberto S. and Benita R. Villegas. He was the last surviving offspring of their six children.
Armando is preceded in death by his parents, Alberto S. and Benita R. Villegas along with his mother-in-law Guadalupe R. Cantu. Followed by his siblings, Alberto Junior (Beto) Villegas, Silvia Vidal Villegas, Elia Gomez, Dolia Longoria and Diana Villegas; along with three daughters, Alma Alicia Villegas, Veronica Villegas and Monica Villegas. Along with one granddaughter, Mia A. Villegas.
Left to treasure his wonderful lifelong memories, is his beloved wife of 52 years, Cristina G. Villegas. Followed by his children, Annabel Villegas, Armando Villegas Jr., Andrew “Andy” Villegas Sr., and Erik (Yvonne) Villegas. Along with 12 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great Great Grandchild. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
A Celebration of his Life is scheduled to be held on Wednesday December 10th, 2025, at 6:00 pm at Trinity at Harrison Funeral Home Chapel of the Holy Spirit with Fr. Horacio Chavaria as celebrant. Prayer of the Holy Rosary will begin shortly thereafter at 7:00 pm.
