Not sure what to say?

Uncle Eddie thank you for always picking me up on summer breaks and making me feel right at home. I loved always watching you be so passionate about working in your garden and growing fruits & vegetables. I hold lots of wonderful memories in my heart you definitely will be missed! Love you Lucy!

Uncle Eddie- an uncle who knew how to make me laugh (milk my mouse), scare me (always jumping out from somewhere), told lots of stories, a good listener, a builder and gardener, and who loved his family so much. Miss and love you

I Miss & Love you Baby

May he rest in Heavenly peace.

Arthur "Eddie"'s Obituary

Arthur E. “Eddie” Holt, III of Round Mountain, TX passed away Saturday, November 8, 2025 in Lakeway, TX with his loving family at his side.  Eddie was born in Dyersburg, TN on September 7, 1951 to Arthur Edgar Holt, Jr. and June Marie Holt.

Eddie is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Jeanette Holt; their two daughters, Lynn Bridges and husband Jason, and Kellie Holt and husband Alejandro Irizarry; six grandchildren, Cameron, Gabriel, Jayden, Ethan, Zara, and Gohan; two sisters, Mary Ann Reichenberger and husband Ronald, and Julie Marie Montgomery; mother in law Mary Meza, brothers in law, Daniel F. Lopez and Carlos Lopez; and sister in law, Sabrina Garza and many nieces and nephews.

In Houston, Texas, Eddie met the love of his life, Jeanette. From the start, he stepped effortlessly into the role of a father to Lynn. 7 years later, Eddie and Jeanette welcomed their daughter Kellie, completing their tight-knit family. For over 25 years, Eddie and Jeanette worked side by side at a custom cabinetry business, crafting beautiful pieces with the same care they poured into their home. Eddie served as a city council member for the town of Round Mountain for 26 years.

Eddie’s happiest moments were spent with his family on beach trips, casting a line while fishing, or tending to his garden—his true passion. His green thumb and generous spirit left a lasting mark on everyone he knew.

Eddie will be remembered for the way he loved—fiercely, patiently, and with dirt under his nails and a smile in his heart.

Funeral services will be held at Crofts – Crow Funeral Chapel in Johnson City, TX at 11:00 AM, Monday, November 17, 2025.  A time of visitation will begin at 10:00 AM prior to the ceremony.
