Barbara Demsky Obituary
Barbara Jean Demsky, 68, of Palm Coast, FL passed away January 31, 2019 after a long and courageous battle with cancer surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born on December 10, 1950 in Bridgeport, CT. Barbara met her childhood sweetheart, William Demsky on March 9, 1967. They lived in West Haven, CT until 2009. Together they were married for 46 years, had two wonderful children and 52 years of adventure.
Barbara will be missed by her husband, William; her daughter, Sabrina Demsky-Cameron and husband Joshua Cameron; their three children Alexander, Avery and Addison Cameron; her son Michael Demsky and his wife Julie Demsky; a sister, Lynda Lackups and her husband Edward Lackups.
She was a para professional with the West Haven Board of Education for more than twenty years working with children with Autism and Developmental Disabilities. Barbara was a member of the Elks Club 2709. She enjoyed spending time with her husband as they boated and rode their Harley, reading, and gardening.
A celebration of life will be held later this spring in Florida.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Adelbrook, Behavioral & Developmental Service, Inc. 58 Missionary Rd., Cromwell, Connecticut.
The family of Mrs. Demsky have entrusted arrangements to Clymer Funeral Home and Cremations.
