Barbara Gribbins Obituary
Barbara Ann Gribbins, 61, of Raywick, passed away on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. Born on March 14, 1964, she was formerly employed at Curtis Maruyasu America. Barbara loved being outdoors and was always ready to go on an outing, especially to dirt track races or riding side by sides through the woods. She was adventurous by nature and had a special love for horses.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Anthony Gribbins; her parents, James Oliver and Mary Kathryn Wright Spivey; one brother, Larry Spivey.
Survivors include one son, Waylon Mays and one granddaughter, Bella Wheatley, both of Lebanon; three siblings, Gail Spivey of Junction City, Nancy Long of Stanford, and Kevin Spivey (Nora) of Lebanon; a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Barbara Ann Gribbins will be held at 11 am Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Mattingly Funeral Home, 195 Holy Cross Road, Loretto. Bro. Jerry Lanham will officiate. Interment will follow in Highview Methodist Church Cemetery.
The visitation is 9 am – 11 am Wednesday at Mattingly Funeral Home.
