Barbara Lineberry Obituary
Barbara Carol Lineberry age 75 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2025 in the Carilion New River Valley Medical Center.
Barbara was born in Carroll County, Virginia on April 17, 1950 to Leonard Zelmer and Cora Emaline Frost Linville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Norma Brown and brothers Gene Linville and Calvin Linville.
She is survived by her husband Vance Dean Lineberry of Galax, Virginia; sisters and brothers-in-law Linda Jones; Ester Carico (Ronnie Hodges); Betty Beasley; Kathy Dalton (Stacy); brother Jimmy Linville of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Friday at 1:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Rodney Christman officiating. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 12:30 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.

Vance, Jimmy and family I'm so sorry for your loss of Barbara. She was the pillar of the family until recent years and loved you all so much. While she had the tanning business we used to talk a lot and she always talked so lovingly of her siblings. She was one of the first people I got to know when I started working for Lisa Adams.
