On Thursday, March 19, 2020, Barry “Buddy” Eldon Bolton passed away at age 57. Buddy was born on November 13, 1962, and was a life-long resident of Natchitoches, Louisiana. He graduated with the class of 1980 from Natchitoches Central High School. On February 19, 1987, he married Debra and together they raised two daughters, Misty and Nikki. He was a mechanic for over 25 years and ultimately earned a supervisory position at International Paper from which he retired. He was a member of Westside Baptist Church and the Robeline Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife Debra Hammett Bolton, daughters Misty Dees and husband JL Dees, Nikki Eidt and husband Phillip Eidt, grandchildren Barry Chandler Dees and Cecelia Catherine Eidt, and his mother Freddie Mae Martin Bolton. Preceding him in death are his father Larry Eldon Bolton and two sisters Tara Elizabeth Bolton and Penelope Anne Bolton.
A visitation will be held at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home on Saturday, March 21, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. also at Blanchard-St. Denis Funeral Home with the burial to follow at Flatwoods Cemetery in Rapides Parish.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Boyt, Boyd White, Tim Miley, Steve Nichols, Gene McDavid, and Aymond Booker.
