A home going celebration for Mother Beatrice Adams Strother was held on Saturday January 2, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery, 4615 E. Hanna Avenue, Tampa, Florida, Pastor Antonio Hawkins, Officiated.
On December 30, 1941 in Tampa, Florida Mr. Willie Adams and Mrs. Cora Lee Adams became the proud parents of a baby girl, whom they named Beatrice. She grew up in the Ybor City area known as “The Bottom” and attended the public schools of Hillsborough County.
She worked for the seafood industry for over 10 years. She was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church as a young child until her illness. She Remained a True Pillar of the faith even after her illness and continued fellowship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. God saw his faithful servant growing weary, and on Sunday afternoon, the 27 th day of December, 2020, God sent His Ange of Death to summon home the soul of our beloved Beatrice Adams.
Mother Beatrice leaves to cherish loving memories with her sons, Herbert L. Finley and Eric C. Henderson; daughters, Queen E. Spotford and Sharon D. Watson; a host of grandchildren, Shaketha Jones, Herbert Finley, Jr., Kimberly Curry, Shanay Finley, Katrina Finley, Eric Henderson, Jr., Eric
Henderson, III and Antonio Henderson; a host of great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; caregivers, Ricole Stone, Linda Perry, Beverly Grayson and Bettie Alexander and other sorrowing friends and loved ones.
