Benny Franklin Untalan, 76, of New Haven, WV, passed away November 3, 2023, in Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV, following a brief illness.
He was born August 4, 1947, in Mason, WV, a son of the late Bonifacio Fransisco Untalan and Mary (Hill) Dorerpher. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Ann Yvonne (Johnson) Untalan; brothers, Robert Untalan and William Dorerpher; sister, Lorena Little.
He was a graduate of Wahama High School. He was a United States Army veteran. He was retired from the Laborers Union and enjoyed woodworking and fishing.
Survivors include his son Bernard Franklin Untalan and his wife Tania of Chesapeake, VA; one grandchild and three great-grandchildren.
There will be no public services at this time. Arrangements provided by Foglesong-Casto Funeral Home, Mason, WV.
