Bessie Mae Holmes 72 of Lake Wales died Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in Lakeland, FL. She was a member of Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church-Mulberry, Florida.
She is survived by her children: Courtney (Kristen) Davis, Jeanese Davis, Rev. Thaddeus (Talisha) Davis, Jr. and Juanita Bostic, siblings: Wilene Mackey and Robert Bostic, 14 grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Viewing will be at Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church 304 SW 2nd Avenue Mulberry, FL. Friday, January 30, 2026, 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
Funeral service will be at Greater Works Ministries 2110 Oakhurst Dr. Winter Haven, Fl 33881 at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 31, 2026
Interment: Wildwood Cemetery, Bartow, FL
