Betti Christine Schroter

1940 - 2025

    Mrs. Betti Christine Schroter age 84 of Lake Drive Blairsville passed away peacefully with her son by her side on Friday November 7, 2025 in the Union County Nursing Home following an extended illness. Mrs. Schroter was born on November 27, 1940 in Furth, Germany, the daughter of the late Johann Sperber and the late Elise Grosmann Sperber. Betti was a loving and caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a wonderful mother who dedicated her life to her family. She was preceded in death by her parents and also her beloved husband Gunter Schroter who passed away in 2018 and also a brother, Irven Sperber. Mrs. Schroter was of the Christian faith.

   Surviving Mrs. Schroter are one son and daughter in law, Dr. Robert and Kelly Schroter of Blairsville, one daughter and son in law, Susan and Michael Bottinelli of Blairsville, her grandchildren, Jordan Smith, Danielle Arteaga, Joey Schroter, Caleb Bottinelli, Stephen Bottinelli, Sara Alix, eleven great grandchildren and two on the way, many other relatives and friends also survive.

   A Memorial service will be held at a later date and will be announced. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to a favorite charity of your choice in Mrs. Schroter’s memory.
