Betty Napier Obituary
BETTY JO NAPIER, 83 years of age of Summersville, passed away Friday March 27,2026 at the Summersville Healthcare Center. She was the daughter of the late Lester J. and Winona E. Carter Haynes and was born at Gauley Bridge May 8,1942. Betty was a retired registered nurse from St. Mary’s Hospital in Huntington with over thirty years of service.
She was also preceded in death by her husband William Ronald Napier, Sr., sons William R. Napier, Jr., and Charles Lawrence Napier, brothers James E. Haynes and Benny Haynes.
Surviving:
Son Andrew Napier (Tara) Kitts Hill, Ohio
Grandchildren Miranda, Kimber, Kadence, Taylor and Kristen
Sisters Dreama Hellems (Glenn)
Gerry Grizzell (Marshall) all of Summersville
Several nieces and nephews
Funeral services will be conducted at noon on Thursday April 2nd in the Waters Funeral Chapel at Summersville with Pastor Arnold Nicholas officiating. Burial will follow at the Forrest Lawn Memorial Gardens in Huntington. Friends may call at the funeral chapel one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
