I was Ms Betty housekeeper and in the time I was blessed to have her in my life will forever be treasured getting to know her beautiful family is priceless. I am confident that God has added a beautiful New flower to his garden

So sorry for your families loss. You can see Ms. Betty having lots of fun with family in her video that she was a happy go lucky, carefree person and I know she will be missed.

Betty's Obituary

Betty Louise Ogea, 76, passed away April 25, 2017 at a local hospital.

 

Ms. Ogea was born in Beaumont, TX but spent most of her life in Lake Charles. Professionally, she was a beautician for 15 years. Ms. Ogea was a parishioner of Our Lady Queen of Heaven. One of her favorite past times was dancing. Her true love was her children and grandchildren.

 

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her son, Timothy Ogea of Lake Charles; daughter, Amealia Lynn Ogea Daigle and husband Mark of Ragley; siblings; Marie Bryson of Lake Charles, Yvonne Johnson of Many, Zelma Spell of Westlake, and Joseph Thibodeaux of Lake Charles; five grandchildren, Jeremy Johnson and wife Keisha, Christy Johnson, Michelle Conley and husband Jaime, Derek Ogea, and Bandy Ogea; eleven great-grandchildren, Dylan Conley, Jason Ogea, Donte’ Johnson, Remy Ogea, Emily Conley, Keeley Johnson, Andee Johnson, Larionna Fowlkes, Elaina Conley, Emmie Kate Johnson, and Shania Booker

 

Ms. Ogea is preceded in death by her husband, Cecil John Ogea; parents, Olide and Azalie Thibodeaux; daughters, Betty Lois Ogea, Renette Brouillette, Azalie “Lilly” Johnson; siblings, T-Ray Thibodeaux, Rena Lognion, Elvin Thibodeaux, Martin Thibodeaux, and Melvin Thibodeaux.

 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church at 1:30PM, Thursday April 27, 2017. Burial will follow at Consolata Cemetery. Monsignor Danny Torres will officiate. Visitation will be at Johnson Funeral Home at 4:45PM to 8PM on Wednesday April 26. A rosary will be at 6PM that evening. Visitation will continue at the funeral home at 9AM until 1:15PM on Thursday.
