Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Billie. My deepest sympathy for all of her family.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Billie (RIP) was such a sweet person. She greeted you with a smile when you entered the bank, and was so helpful. Lisa and Amy may God bless and keep your entire family.

So sorry for your loss! She was such an wonderful person! Prayers to the family and friends

Lisa, Amy and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Billie and I became friends when Rhonda and I lived in Clarendon. Your mom was an amazing woman. May God's presence in your hearts comfort you as you grieve.

Prayers and condolences to the family and close friends. May you all find comfort and peace during this time.

She was always very kind when I needed services from the bank

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.
Billie will be greatly missed in the Community and in our hearts. She is healed completely now. She will always be in your hearts.

Love and prayers.

My deepest sympathy to the entire family- She was a beautiful person to know.

Billie's Obituary

Billie Kersh Ostermann, age 75 of Clarendon, AR, passed away peacefully on January 4, 2025.  Born on June 5, 1949 in Star City, AR, she was the second of three daughters born to Bill and Imogene Kersh. In 1967 Billie married the love of her life, Phillip Ostermann. The couple had two daughters, Lisa and Amy.

Billie was employed at Merchants and Planters bank for 46 years, a career that she truly loved because of the wonderful friends (“bank besties”) and customers she served daily. An active member of the community throughout the years, Billie attended the Clarendon Church of Christ and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Chamber of Commerce, Monroe County Community Foundation, Clarendon School Board, and City Council. She enjoyed hosting family dinners, going on adventures with her sister, Janet, reading and watching football.

Billie’s proudest accomplishment was being a mother and grandmother to six grandchildren who lovingly called her “B”. She is survived by two daughters, Lisa Steeland of Clarendon, AR, and Amy (“late” Gary) Smith of Nash, TX; six grandchildren: Tracy (Connor) Williams of Denton, TX, Daniel (Heather) Steeland of Clarendon, AR, Morgan (Gracie) Steeland of Poplar Grove, AR, Trey Smith of Fayetteville, AR, Addison Smith of Fayetteville, AR, and Lindsay (Johnny Joe) Roberts of Lubbock, TX; two sisters, Lynda (James) McGarrity of Whitehall, AR, and Janet Dutton of Clarendon, AR; two nieces, Adrian (Nathan) Moore of Little Rock, and Jennifer (Kevin) Hartsfield of Whitehall, AR, and nephew, Derrick Dutton of Star City, AR.  Billie is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Phil.
