Bishop Melvin L. Shaw Sr. age 84 U. S. Army Veteran of Dyersburg, TN. died Monday, December 23, 2019 at his residence. Arrangement are entrusted to McCreight Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Friday, January 3, 2020 5:00p.m-7:00p.m at New Hope Pentecostal Power Church 607 Roberts Ave. Dyersburg, TN. Funeral service will be held Saturday, January 4, 2020 12:Noon at New Life Pentecostal Power Church 4025 S. Ward Ave. in Caruthersville, MO. with Bishop Charles Webb officiating. Burial will be held in Memorial Park Cemetery in Dyersburg, TN. Survivors; Wife Mary Kincaid Shaw, Dyersburg, TN. Children; Mildred (Johnny) Wyatt, Flint, MI., Beverly (Joe) Wyatt, Bowling Green, Ky., Crystal Shaw, Dyersburg, TN., Melvin (Kathy) Shaw Jr., Elder Kevin (Angela) Shaw of Dyersburg, TN.; Sister; Dr. Francis Gardner, Detroit, MI., (13) Grandchildren, (15) Great-Grandchildren, (1) Great-Great Grandchild. Bishop Shaw was preceded in death by his parents; James Shaw & Velma Wooten, Son; Eric Shaw; Brother; James Fowlkes.
