She treasured her family, valued her friendships, and found great joy in being involved in the community she loved so dearly.

She is also survived by several beloved great-nieces and great-nephews, along with her cherished church family, neighbors, and many dear friends who will deeply miss her presence.

In addition to her parents, Bobbie Jo was preceded in death by one infant son, Madison Emmett Holt; her brothers and sisters, Curtis Gilliland, Dean G. Wells, Lucille G. Horton, Maxine G. Hinkle, and Linville E. Gilliland “Junior”; two nephews, Gene Gordon Wells and Frank Richie, Jr.; her niece, Sandra Hinkle Griffith; and her great-niece, Lisa Jo Kidd.

One of the most loving and caring souls to ever walk this earth. Never a day did she turn me away even when no one else wanted to see my face. I will always love and cherish her and the time living across the street from her home.
