Bobby Vickery Obituary

Bobby Joe Vickery, 82, of Hampstead NC, passed away on January 27, 2021.  He was born in Trumann, Arkansas, on March 14, 1938, to the late Clarence and Ethel Vickery


Bobby started his career in the United States Marine Corps. and was honorably discharged after six years of service.  He retired at age 70 as a Maintenance Supervisor for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  Bobby was happiest when he was outside working in his yard, visiting neighbors or just enjoying nature.  He was a loved and respected member of his family and his community.


Bobby is preceded in death by his wife, Patsy, whom he loved and adored for over sixty years. 


He is survived by his children, Glenn L. Vickery, Melissa V. Branch, and Jean L. Edens (Wade); his grandchildren, Vonda McKay, Jeremiah Vickery, Kyle Branch, Noah Lewis, Samantha Lewis and Jackie Lewis, and 7 great grandchildren.
