Dr. Bonnie Jeanne Williams Hearon, 70, died on March 20, 2016, at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, Georgia. She was born on August 22, 1945, in Oak Park, Illinois, to the late Thomas Robert Williams and Jeannette Whitten Williams of Oak Park, Illinois.

She is survived by her husband, William (Bill) Hearon of Lumpkin, Georgia, her four daughters, Laura (Robert) Laurent of New Orleans, Louisiana, Barbara (Kemp) Amason of Atlanta, Georgia, Charlotte Hearon of New Orleans, Louisiana and Natalie Hearon of Atlanta, Georgia, and two brothers, Tom (Cheryl) Williams of Denver, Colorado, Don (Nancy) Williams of Salinas, California.

After a year they moved to Americus, Georgia, then on to their farm in Centerpoint. Their family enlarged with the birth of the twins and their youngest daughter. In 1991 they moved to Lumpkin, Georgia.

During this time Bonnie worked at the Sumter Regional Hospital and Cordele Hospital. Later Bonnie accepted a job at St. Francis and received her pharmacy doctors' degree from the University of Georgia.
