Brenda Faye Whitehead, 61, of Ashley, IL, born Sept. 7, 1954, in East St. Louis, IL, died Tuesday, Apr. 5, 2016 at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital, Mt. Vernon, IL.
Brenda was a retired cook from the Mascoutah Senior Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Eva Joyce, nee McCasland, Foster and a brother, Arthur Foster.
She is survived by her children, Carl Dickerson of Marissa, IL, Kelly Dickerson of Ashley, IL, Kevin Whitehead of O’Fallon, IL; eight grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two sisters, Elizabeth Hayes of Villa Hills, IL, Carol Foster of Fayetteville, IL; and a brother, John (Marcia) Foster of Freeburg, IL.

Funeral: A memorial celebration will be held 3 PM Friday, Apr. 8, 2016 at Moll Funeral Home in Mascoutah, IL.
