Brian Lee Potter, age 55 yrs, passed from this life Feb 6, 2018 in Cumming Ga.
Brian worked most of his life as a general contractor.
He was a man of unsurpassed skill and imagination who could build or repair anything. He loved building go-carts and drift trikes for the kids to enjoy. Brian also helped the Boy Scouts build many Pinewood Derby cars and Cubmobiles. His heart was never far from No Longer Bound, while on staff there he managed the Auto Shop and was their maintenance crew chief.
Brian was preceded in death by his father Bobby Potter, Rocky Mount, Va and his mum Wendy Murphy, Norwich, England.
He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Brenda, and their children Troy Hoover and wife Amber, Gainesville, David T. Potter, McDonough, Holly DeLora Hoover, Gainesville and Clayton Lee Potter of the home. Siblings David Potter and wife Susan, Cumming, Steve Murphy and wife Gillian, Cardiff, Wales, Julie Ellington-Mills and husband James, Cumming, Matt Murphy and wife Lynn, Gainesville, Brian Murphy and husband Michael Klimp, Atlanta, his dad the Honorable Jack Murphy and wife Linda, Cumming, Grandchildren, Erian, Kaylee, Troy Jr and Jake Hoover, and many beloved nieces, nephews and loved ones across the pond.
Celebration of Life and interment services will be held Monday, May 7 at 3 p.m at the Episcopal Church of the Holy Spirit, Cumming, Ga. Reverends Keith Oglesby and Mike Harden officiating.

Brian,
Thank you for being my brother, for showing me to slow down. I remember when you talked me into ride ski-doos, off we went out on ski doos on the lake just to ride around, no words were spoken, just the smiles on our faces said it all. Thank you for that sweet memory. You will be missed more than words can say.
