1980 - 2023

Bryon Patrick Butler 42, departed this life on Friday January 20, 2023 at his residence. Byron Patrick Butler  was born in Cairo, IL on June 5th, 1980.  Byron Butler was the third child of Cheryl and the sixth grandchild of the family.

Byron Butler grew up during a time when spending time outside and with close friends were common.  During this time, he forged amazing bonds and friendship with several individuals.

Byron Butler was amazingly charismatic and enjoyed deep meaningful conversations.  If you spent time with him, you can start a topic about a movie and end up discussing climate changes or politics.  Even though Byron’s frame resembled one of a giant or a professional basketball player, his affections were often one of a teddy bear.  He believed in giving hugs and reciprocating love to those around him.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Cheryl Lynn, and brother, James Robert.

Bryon leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Shante Butler, five beautiful children brought into this world and who miss in dearly.  Byron Patrick Butler Jr, Brandyn James Butler, Blayke Aaron Butler, Ailee Nicole Butler, Bryan Carter Butler, and Jimmie Lee Wilson.  Byron has three living Sisters, and one living Brother, several nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
