Beloved husband of Marion E. Wanjek (nee Carbine); devoted father of Carl J. Wanjek (Karen), Eileen M. Bailey (Michael), MaryJo A. Mirynowski (Edward), John C. Wanjek, Marion E. Passman (Shawn). Loving grandfather of 18, great grandfather of 10.
Relatives and Friends are invited to attend his Viewing Monday evening 7 - 9 PM at John F. Fluehr & Sons, Inc. 3301-15 Cottman Ave. Philadelphia PA 19149 and Tuesday morning 8:45 - 9:45 AM at St. Jemore Church, Holme Ave & Stamford Street, Philadelphia PA 19136; followed by his Funeral Mass 10:00 AM. Rite of Committal Resurrection Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P. O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.

My deepest condolences to the family. Uncle Carl was one of the kindest, most genuine people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. My husband and I have fondest memories of him dancing with his beloved wife as the longest-married guests at our wedding. There is no doubt God met Uncle Carl at the gates with a warm embrace and a cold beer. What a gentleman for the ages.... I will truly miss him.
